Nike is celebrating the greatness of Serena Williams and her return to the U.S. Open with an OFF-WHITE x Nike collection, and one of the silhouettes featured from the pack is this special edition Nike Air Max 97. Covered in an official theme of Elemental Rose, Black, Barely Rose, and White, the runner sports the light pinkish hue across its updated mesh/synthetic upper, and it’s offset nicely by a color gradient on the midsole, featuring gold, purple and pink hues. Finally, a volt zip-tie and Air Max cushioning completes the design.
Retailing for $190, look for the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max 97 Queen debut only in NYC, but a wider release might be announced soon. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.
The atmos x Nike Air Max 95 Animal Pack 2.0 that released earlier this year is regarded by many as one of the best Air Max releases of 2018 and rightfully so. But now we have found out that there is a 3.0 version that was created for friends and family.
Shown by Tokyo atmos’ creative director Hirofumi Kojima, this 3.0 friends and family colorway is nearly identical to the pair that released earlier this year except it comes with Burnt Orange on the toe box and top panel instead of black.
What are your thoughts on this friends and family colorway and would you have liked to see this pair release instead of the 2.0?

It’s crazy what a sole swap can do to a sneaker, right? Jake Danklefs of Dank Customs gave the ultimate dad shoe a major makeover simply by changing its sole. What you end up getting is this interesting custom we’d like the call the Nike Air Monarch x Nike Air Max 90 Hybrid.
The Nike Air Monarch x Nike Air Max 90 Hybrid Custom consists of an Air Monarch upper placed on top of an iconic Air Max 90 sole unit. It looks way better right? Dad shoe or not, I wouldn’t be opposed to wearing a pair of these every now and then. Great craftsmanship and execution, Jake!

Featuring a sock-like bootie construction with an asymmetrical lacing system, the model’s Air Max completes the sleek look altogether.
