Geyer Guest House was completely renovated in 2009. It has 2 full baths and 4 guest rooms that total 12 beds. We turned the downstairs into a bar. The main floor has a kitchen, dining, parlor, living room, bathroom and piano room.
The Bed and Breakfast is situated on 3 city lots - so there is a large yard for relaxation. On the back side of the house there is a big deck for lots of outdoor grilling and fun. There is a fire pit with seating for all to enjoy the wonderful Dakota evenings.
Across the street is the City Park where you can find picnic areas, swings, basketball courts and the City pool.
Breakfast usually consists of 2 kinds of cereal, bagels, homemade muffins, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, toast , cinnamon rolls and then one specialty item; biscuits & gravy, egg bake or bacon & eggs.
During Peak Season, the hunting season, a sack lunch will be provided upon request. The sack lunch consists of: 2 sandwiches on buns, roast beef or turkey, homemade cookies, bag of chips, banana or apple and Gatorade or pop (Soda/Cola).
Supper/Dinner - what do we say about supper.......It's a very large meal - like Thanksgiving everyday! Homemade soups and pies, prime rib, turkey or roast beef, fresh dinner rolls with home canned jams, cheesy hash browns or baked potatoes or mashed potatoes. Not all items listed are available every night, but you will be fed a hearty South Dakota Supper!
